The cool air from the front is passed through the heat exchanger core, and discharged at the rear. Any blockage at the rear will impede the cooling efficiency of the intercooler & oil cooler. This is why ARC has came out with the Wind Master system to allow trapped air in the front bumper to exit after passing through the heat exchanger cores. This air duct system provides optimized flow through the front bumper and thus improves the performance efficiency of the heat exchangers in the intercooler & oil cooler.
